The Nissan Serena S-Hybrid is a popular family-oriented minivan known for its spacious interior, versatile seating, and hybrid technology. It combines a 2.0L petrol engine with an electric motor, enhancing fuel efficiency and offering a smooth driving experience. The S-Hybrid system assists with initial acceleration and regenerative braking, improving energy recovery during stops.

This system includes an ECO motor with an electric power regenerator and a secondary battery, as well as an idling start/stop system. The engine is a 4-cylinder, 16-valve, direct injection engine with Twin CVTC (Continuously Variable-valve Timing Control). It produces 150 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. The Serena S-Hybrid uses a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
